How to enable JavaScript in your browser

Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x, 7.x and 8

Perform the following steps to enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x and 7.x:

1. From the 'Tools' menu, click on 'Internet Options'.



2. From the 'Security tab', click 'Custom level' button.



3. Scroll down until you can see options as shown on the picture. Set the option 'Active scripting' to 'Enable' and click on the 'OK' button.


4. Close all browser windows and relaunch it.

Firefox 1.x

1. To enable JavaScript in Firefox 1.x, click on 'Tools' and select 'Options…'



2. Click on the 'Web features' and check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox. Click the 'OK' button.



3. Close all browser windows and relaunch it.

Firefox 2.x or 3.x

1. In Firefox 2.x or 3.x click on 'Tools' and select 'Options…'



2. Click on the 'Content' check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and finally click the 'OK' button.



3. Now close all browser windows and relaunch it.

Safari

1. Click on 'Edit' and select 'Preferences' to enable JavaScript in Safari:



2. Click on 'Security' and check the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and click the 'OK' button.



3. Close all browser windows and relaunch it.
